Electric underfloor heating from Vloerverwarmingservice

The clever heating system from Vloerverwarmingservice is ideal for new builds and for retrofitting in bathrooms, kitchens, hallways or offices. With an output of 150 W/m², it is not just an additional solution. With the right structural conditions, it can also be used as a fully-fledged heating system. Ideal for rooms where heat should only be available for a short time or where radiators are not required for space reasons. Electric underfloor heating systems are being used more and more frequently and are competing with conventional alternatives. The installation costs are very low, as there is no need to install complex heat distribution systems. An additional room for the heating system or boiler is not required. Maintenance work and costs are also eliminated. Control via a thermostat offers further advantages: you can achieve exactly the temperature that corresponds to your comfort factor. In addition, the maximum temperature can be precisely determined and thus comply with health standards. Important to know: Our heating mat strips are always 50 cm wide. To install them in rooms, you must therefore order several strips in the appropriate room length. The heating mat from Vloerverwarmingservice is suitable for self-installation. Only the final electrical connection needs to be carried out by a specialist. There are two installation options:

  1. On floating screed with underlying thermal insulation. This ensures that the heat reaches the room particularly quickly.
  2. On existing floor covering (concrete or tiles). A layer of permanently elastic tile adhesive is applied first. We recommend laying insulating boards, such as F-Boards with a thickness of 6 mm or 10 mm, with a subsequent drying time of 24 hours. The additional insulation made of extruded polystyrene drastically reduces the heat emission downwards – the regular heating time is halved.

Mill out a joint for the floor sensor. Insert the sensor through a corrugated pipe into the joint and seal it. Guide the other end of the sensor and the cold heating cable end of the mat to the point where the thermostat is to be installed. The heating mat can now be simply rolled out onto the screed (1.) or insulating panels (2.), taking the minimum distances into account. The mat is fitted with adhesive tape for easy attachment. To keep areas free, e.g. under fixed furniture, the carrier fabric can be cut out and the free space bridged with cable. After applying an (additional) layer of permanently elastic tile adhesive, the tiles can be laid and the thermostat connected. You will immediately enjoy a pleasant warmth within your four walls.

Your advantages with Vloerverwarmingservice:

  • Healthy indoor climate
  • Can be individually tailored to your premises
  • Long service life
  • No maintenance costs
  • Precise determination of the temperature
  • Space-saving heating solution

Notes:

The thermostat is included in the system. For smaller areas up to 4 m², the tiles can be laid immediately; for larger areas, only after 24 hours. Not suitable for use outdoors, in garages or for storage heaters. The distance between the heating cables is approx. 100 mm / 80 mm.
